Q: What amenities are provided during the fishing charter?
A: We provide a 48' cooler for all fish caught during the charter. Additionally, rod and reel setups are provided for your convenience.
Q: Do you offer food or snacks during the charter?
A: We do not offer food or snacks, but guests are encouraged to bring their own. We recommend bringing snacks and several bottles of water to stay refreshed throughout the trip.
Q: Can guests bring their own cooler?
A: Yes, guests are more than welcome to bring their own cooler if they prefer.
Q: What should guests bring on the charter?
A: Guests should bring any desired snacks, beverages, sunscreen/suntan lotion, bug repellent, and a jacket. If your party includes a child 12 and under, please provide a life jacket for them. Life jackets can be purchased at major department stores or marine stores.
Q: Is there a restroom on board?
A: No, there is not a restroom aboard the vessel.
Q: What types of baits are provided?
A: For our Standard Charters, we provide shrimp and mud minnows for fishing redfish, trout, and flounder. For Sheepshead fishing charters, we include fiddler crabs. Please note that there is an up charge when booking sheepshead fishing charters.
Q: What happens in case of inclement weather?
A: If inclement weather occurs before the charter begins, customers will be offered a refund of their deposit or the option to rebook (based on availability). If inclement weather arises during the charter, the charter will be called, and the vessel will return to the pier or area of disembarkation.
Q: Is there a guarantee for catching fish?
A: We do not guarantee that all guests will catch fish during the charters. Additionally, there are limits on the amount of fish allowed to be caught. Please contact our office if you would like to know the limit for a particular species.
Q: What should guests wear on the charter?
A: We ask that guests do not wear dark-soled shoes or sneakers as they may cause markings on the deck of the boat.
Q: What is the policy for late arrivals?
A: Guests are asked to arrive at the disembarkation point at least 15 minutes early to go over safety materials. There is a 30-minute wait period for late arrivals, after which the charter is called, and guests are charged for the entire charter. If guests arrive within the wait period, the 30 minutes will be deducted from the charter time.
